Information collected

When you use the website, call, email, or book an in-shop estimate, AUTO CBA may receive your name, phone number, email address, preferred language, vehicle information, preferred timing, and insurance-claim information if you provide it.

How information is used

This information is used to respond to your request, confirm a time to see the vehicle at the shop, prepare communication with you, organize repair next steps, and, where applicable, coordinate required information with your insurer or appraiser.

Google Calendar and email

Estimate bookings use AUTO CBA’s Google Calendar. Submitted information may be retained in Google Workspace and in AUTO CBA’s internal customer follow-up or repair tools to handle the request and avoid duplicates. Google may process information outside Quebec under its own terms and policies.

Photos and documents

The website does not currently support photo uploads. If you send photos or documents by email, they may contain personal information such as a licence plate, VIN, insurance documents, or visible items inside the vehicle. Send only the information needed for your request.

Sharing information

AUTO CBA does not sell personal information. Information may be shared only when needed to respond to your request, provide service, coordinate a repair, communicate with an insurer or appraiser when you authorize it, or when required by law.

Retention and security

AUTO CBA keeps information only for the period needed to manage the request, customer file, repair, administrative follow-up, and applicable obligations. Access is limited to people who need it. When information is no longer required, it must be securely destroyed or anonymized in accordance with applicable rules.

Cookies, analytics and third-party tools

The site uses Google Analytics only if you choose “Accept analytics.” Google Analytics may then process technical data such as visited pages, browser, and device; Google signals for advertising purposes are disabled in the site configuration. You can decline without losing access to the site and change your choice through “Analytics preferences” in the footer. Google Maps, Google Calendar, and other external services are governed by their own policies.

Your requests

You may contact AUTO CBA to request access to or correction of your information, withdraw consent, or request deletion where the law permits. You may also ask a question or make a complaint to the person identified below.
